This signature corresponds to Carl August Reinhardt (1818–1877), a notable 19th-century German landscape and architectural artist, illustrator, and caricaturist. He studied in Leipzig, Dresden, and Munich, and frequently signed his watercolor and ink compositions as either "C. Reinhardt" or "C. Reinhardt fecit".
